Madison Elle Beer, a Long Island, New York, resident, was a music lover and an experimenter since ten years old. In 2012, Madison Elle Beer posted videos of her singing covers of popular songs. Within a couple of months, pop idol Justin Bieber came across her rendition of Etta James' "At Last" and shared it with more than 25 million of his followers on Twitter. After the media coverage she signed a recording contract with Island Records and was also offered a deal as a manager by Bieber's manager. Beer also starred in one small role in Louder Than Words, an independent film that was directed by David Duchovny. It premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in late 2013. Her debut single, the poppy, melismatic "Melodies," also saw release late that year.
